Our first multi-city fundraising event happened in 2017 as members of both the Brisbane and Sydney practices took part in Alzheimer’s Australia’s Memory Walk & Jog event.
The event raised awareness for dementia and funds for much-needed support services, education and social research. It was great being able to take part in an event across two cities, as we were able to organise groups for both the Sydney and Brisbane events.
The morning was also an eye-opener for some of us who weren’t aware of the overly-competitive spirit of some of the team members… we did manage to start and finish the event with a happy group photo though.
