Planning Approval Received for HammondCare’s SA Repat

The Planning Approval for HammondCare SA Repat was recently approved by the SA State Planning Commission.

“We know that dementia is on the rise in South Australia and this new service demonstrates our commitment to implementing the recommendations of the Oakden Report… South Australians can be proud of the reactivation of the Repat as the construction of purpose-built services, like the HammondCare dementia care home, continue on the site.” – Stephen Wade, SA Minister for Health and Wellbeing.

A stellar effort by our architectural, project management and interiors team. Plenty of challenges were overcome to meet a project brief that maximises resident benefit through plentiful green space, and balanced staff considerations – all collocated at the historic SA Repat site owned by SA Health.

A big effort that couldn’t be achieved without the involvement of the broader consultant team – Swanbury Penglase, JHA Consulting Engineers, MasterPlan, WALLBRIDGE GILBERT AZTEC (WGA), and the ECI involvement from Mossop Construction + Interiors.
