Rich Austin & Edward Rathbone look forward to construction progress of Mercy Connect Kambora.
“Just last week, Mercy Connect had the breaking ground ceremony. It’s been great to finally be here after submitting for the project in May last year and given the year that we’ve just had,” said Edward.
“The project also received some media coverage – with Prime7, Win News and ABC Radio present.”
Seven 1 and 2 bed units & villas, a centralised garden and neighbourhood vegetable garden surround a Social Hub. Built like a pavilion with open facades and windows on all sides, the Hub serves as the natural gathering point for the community. Each of the villas and units has been planned to be able to achieve a Platinum Standard under the #LiveableHousingAustralia (LHS) Guidelines and to meet the #NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation Design Standards.
